Campaign Story

In July 2025, my life changed forever. At just 23 weeks pregnant, I developed severe HELLP syndrome, a life-threatening complication of pregnancy that caused my liver and platelets to rapidly deteriorate. Despite being closely monitored and having no major symptoms such as pain or vision changes, my condition silently progressed to a critical level. For my safety and to give our baby a chance at life, I was rushed into an emergency C-section.

Our son was born prematurely due to the HELLP crisis. He bravely entered the world fighting at just 23 weeks and was immediately taken to the NICU. Despite his tiny size, he showed incredible strength and determination. We spent our days by his side, watching him grow, praying for miracles, and holding onto every second.

At just a few weeks old, our son developed Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) — a devastating intestinal disease common in extremely premature infants. He fought with all he had, but after an emotional battle, our little boy passed away in our arms. His life, though brief, changed ours forever.

Doctors have strongly advised that I should never attempt another pregnancy, as the risk of HELLP syndrome recurring — earlier, more aggressively, and possibly fatally — is extremely high. I had hellp syndrome with my oldest child and luckily he survived but I cannot risk losing another baby with a third pregnancy. For us, this is not just emotional—it is medical. My body cannot safely carry a pregnancy again. Our only path giving our child the sibling he so desperately wants is through gestational surrogacy.

Surrogacy is our hope — our chance to grow our family safely, honor our son’s legacy, and finally step into parenthood without fear of losing another life.

We are seeking assistance to help make this dream a reality. Our story is not just about loss—it’s about love, survival, and hope.
